Our agreement with you

Who we agree with

When you sign up, you tell us that you are an adult and the parent or guardian of the child or children whose school details you enter. Our agreement is with you - that person.

We do not keep identity documents and we do not verify who you are. We take you at your word that you are an adult and the child's parent, and we keep no details that would let us check.

Wherever we say "parent", we also mean a legal guardian. We deal only with you, the account holder. If someone else says they are the child's parent or guardian, they must speak to you - not to us - and we have no obligation to give them anything. We hold nothing that proves whose child it is, so we cannot and will not take sides in any disagreement between parents or guardians.

What School Tracker is for

School Tracker helps you, the parent, stay informed about your child's school progress and support them to do better at school.

The app keeps the information you enter and turns it into tables, reports and other tools that help your child with their schoolwork and help you support them.

What we keep - and what we don't

About you, we keep only your name and your email address. We do not collect any other contact information about you.

About your child, we keep only what you enter: their name (or an alias, nickname or identifier you choose), their grade, their school subjects, their school activities, and their school's name and address.

The app has no facility to record a child's phone number, email address or any other contact detail or personal identifier - so we do not collect those at all.

We keep the school's address only so that you can use it when you need it from time to time.

Your plan, and your data

• A full-year plan ends on 31 December at 23:59; a half-year plan ends on 30 June (Jan–Jun) or 31 December (Jul–Dec).
• You can delete any and all of your child's information yourself, at any time, from the app.
• If you renew for another contract-period or calendar year, you keep whatever information you choose to.
• If you do not renew, we keep whatever you have not deleted for up to 30 days beyond your contract's end date - or until 30 January for contracts ending on 31 December - and then delete all of it, without exception.
• Once you delete something, it is gone: the app has no facility to keep or recover information you have deleted.

Monthly Tracker plan

If you'd rather spread the cost, the Tracker is also available month to month (from 2027), priced by family size from R50 a month for your whole family (up to four children). This plan is the Tracker only - it does not include the revision notes and quizzes.

• Your plan is renewed only when each month's payment is confirmed.
• After 2 days without payment, you'll receive a message reminding you to pay the account.
• After 30 days without payment, the month-to-month plan is terminated and your account and your children's sub-accounts are blocked.
• After 45 days without payment, we delete all information relating to the plan.

Payments

We can only take payment through the app, using a third-party Payment Processing Company. We never handle your card details - the payment company processes the payment and simply confirms the details to us.
